_____________________________________

Am living in Toronto.  Practicing law – civil litigation.  Share space with former partners but on my own since 1992. Was with the government (Attorney General) for 12 years, 7 years as a partner in a 35 lawyer firm, and on my own since then.   Was retained by the Ministry of Natural Resources in 1985 to represent them in an Environmental Assessment into Forest Management in Northern Ontario.  Turned out to be 7 years – 485 days of hearings – and once completed spun into other work related to forestry.  Is now an area in which I do a fair bit of work.  Indeed, met my wife (she was a forester) during the initial project.

Married -  for the third and final time.  (the voice of experience).  Have a daughter (24) from second marriage – Carly- graduate in Health Sciences and working in Toronto.

All of my immediate family,  Audrey, Norm, and my mother live in Toronto area. Mom moved down about 5 years ago (after my father died) and lives in her own condo.  Was 88 yesterday.

Golfing and curling are my main recreational activities.  Jan (my wife) and I go to the Brier every year and some of the other major curling event e.g. Olympic Trials.  My membership at Goodlife Fitness (gym) sits idle while my body increasingly shows the results of lack of more vigorous exercise.  The reunion will be an incentive to get back onto the tread mill – I always suffered from the misconception that I was attractive to the women at school, and why should I change now?  I will not, however, be able to do anything about the loss of hair.

Looking forward to the100th reunion.  The 75th was great and am expecting the same thing.  I have already booked my accommodation at Temple Gardens Spa.

Would love to hear from you.

Vic

Joan Evans (Morris)
Moose Jaw Registered nurse/Social Worker Married 3 1964
Hi to all!   Looking forward to seeing many of you at the Reunion.  The 1985 Reunion was great and I anticipate that this one will be the same.  Since graduation I have worked as both an operating room nurse and a social worker. Currently I am the Regional Manager of Supportive Care for the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency.  Married with 3 children, 10 step children and multiple grandchildren.  I really hope that most of our class can make it back.
